How to Outsmart Your Boss on spotify error 412
This error has been present on our site for a while. It only started occurring recently and has been a bit annoying to us, but it still seems to present a challenge to the site. We recently made a small change and we’re testing the new version now to see if we can get this issue to go away.
The problem is that we have a server-side error that happens when we try to save a playlist. It seems to be related to a bug in the playlist library, where when we try to save a playlist, it will save, but will then immediately stop without saving. If the playlist has nothing to save to, it will just stop.
We’ve noticed this for several days now, but have yet to find a fix. We’ve been checking the library, but so far have not found anything that makes this a particular problem.
We are very sorry for this. We are working on a fix, but if you see anything, please let us know.
We’ve also been getting a lot of messages about this error on our forums, where users are wondering if this is an issue with their library or their browser version. We’re hoping that we are able to fix it in the next release.
As it turns out, this is a Google issue, not a Spotify issue. Both Spotify and Google play have had this issue for a while, and both have seen a lot of users reporting that their library downloads have stopped. However, Google has not made a public statement about the issue. Spotify, on the other hand, has done so. We think this is a bug in Spotify, and not an issue with its own library.
It’s worth noting that when we heard about the issue, Spotify had only been made aware of the problem on the night it happened, which itself is a fairly big release. Spotify has since acknowledged the issue. But we’ll have to wait until the next release of Spotify to see if the same thing happens with our library of music.
The issue, though, has a wider scope to it. Spotify has not been able to fix the problem for more than two weeks now, and we’re still waiting on their official statement.
It has only been a matter of hours, but Spotify is facing a serious bug that could potentially cause a major outage for users. The problem has only been resolved in the last few hours, but this news should come as no surprise to anyone who’s been using Spotify for more than a year.
This is not a rare issue. Our library of music is one of the most popular services on the internet. A full investigation into the issue will not be complete for another few days, so we will not be able to provide as much detail as we would like. But what we do know is that Spotify has only been able to resolve the problem in the last few hours, and the fix is still in development.
