How to Create an Awesome Instagram Video About lock in
The idea that we automatically stick to a pre-set routine is common in human history. Many cultures and societies have learned to live with the fact that most of their actions are not pre-programmed.
The problem is that we don’t typically consider what we’re doing to be a routine. For example, if you go to the mall and you buy a new pair of jeans, you’re not going to go to the bathroom and change out of your clothes right away. You’re going to get in your clothes, change into them, walk downstairs, and pick up your new pair of jeans.
For many people, they do what they do every day for a long time. They develop habits they can stick to. They may want to take a shower, or go out clubbing, or go bowling, or go to the library, or take a nap. But you don’t really expect them to act like that every day. They may have to do them a few times, but they are probably in their routine. They are likely to do them every day and be successful at it.
I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “When you need to do something, do it. When you dont, dont.” I’ve been around enough people to know that if they do a habit that they think is important, its probably important to them or at least should be important to them. If it’s not important to them, they most likely wont do it, just because it would be a hassle.
When we asked my students recently if they ever lock in, they said that it is something that they do on a regular basis. Most of them have a habit that has them doing it every two weeks, and some have a habit that has them doing it every day. Im sure they have a lot more things they can do that are really important to them. Like, I know I do, but its not something that I would necessarily want to do.
I can totally believe that, but I think there is a difference between doing things regularly and doing them every day, and I think that’s what the students are referring to when they say “locking in”. If you lock in once a day, for instance, it doesn’t really matter what you do, but if you do it every day or every week, the effect is a lot different.
I think that there is a lot of confusion about the idea of locking in. There are two concepts I think are important: the first is how you lock in, and that is a conscious decision. You can lock in for multiple days (in our case, every day) or you can lock in for one or more days and then choose to unlock at a later time. Both are great options, but I think the second one is the way to go.
I would argue that you are locked in for one day in our case, every day or you can choose to lock in for one or two days and then choose to unlock at a later time. It could be as simple as locking in at your computer, or maybe even turning off your phone when you leave the house to lock in for a specific time.
Lock in and unlock in are often used interchangeably, but they are not the same. This is because a locks-in period is like a time loop. It’s a period of time where you are stuck in a situation and you can’t move on. The time loop is like if you were locked in for a few days and then decided to turn off your TV.
I’m not sure what it is with all this lock-in time loop stuff, but I like it. It’s like an entire life-altering video game. Like a puzzle that you have to solve to unlock the next part of the game. Lock in and unlock in are a great way to get lost in a game. There is nothing like a game that requires you to take your hand off the TV and move on to the next level.
