Well. I think you can certainly take pictures of your iPad with a tripod. This is just the first I’ve seen of this particular iPad, but my iPad is definitely an interesting device. I’d imagine that the iPhone does the same thing, but I haven’t yet tried this one.

I have the same iPad. I think this is one of the best features of the iPad (aside from the fact that it is, well, an iPad) is that you can have a tripod stand to not only take pictures, but also record videos. No, I dont think you have to have an iPad to do that. The only thing you really need to get the camera on the camera app is a tripod. Its just that good looking, and so easy.
