Why You’re Failing at hdmi thunderbolt
I have been working on my own home theater project and the hdmi thunderbolt is my first attempt. The hdmi is a USB 3.0 type of cable that has two HDMI ports in it. I wanted to use it to connect both my PC and my TV through one cable. I don’t mean to sound like a nerd but I feel like a newbie when it comes to electronics.
If you are looking to get a new TV in your house, you have to get a TV that has a lot more going on than just the basic HDMI ports. It has to have HDMI inputs for the surround sound and the digital audio outs. It has to have an HDMI output for the video out, and the other HDMI output for the composite video. It has to have a HDMI output for the component video and the component video is not HDMI.
The HDMI output for the video out, and the composite video output, are both HDMI, so they are the only ones that can be used with an HDTV, but the composite video is not HDMI. The HDTV will only have 1080p resolution, so the HDMI output of the component video will need to be a HDMI 1.2 input.
What is HDMI? It is a digital audio and video interface standard, with a specification that was originally developed for cable television equipment. The HDMI protocol is also the standard for high definition television, which will be released with the Xbox One in 2016.
Because it is just a HDMI connection, it can’t be used with an HDTV, which only has 1080p resolution. I mean, what if you wanted to play a game on your TV? I would think that would be pretty hard to do, though. There are a couple of HDMI cables for this, but the end of them is a USB connection.
Unfortunately, the specification that was developed for cable television has not been updated because it is considered outdated. A newer specification is being developed, but until that is complete, HDMI is still the only way to take advantage of this new technology.
HDMI is also the only cable that actually works with the Sony Bravia TV. And it is an over-the-air signal. You don’t need any fancy converter box to take advantage of this.
The problem is that the HDMI specification was developed in the mid-90s when it was still considered proprietary. And so until that is completed, there will be no way to set up a cable box to use a cable connection to take advantage of this new technology.
Of course, it doesn’t help that it is a proprietary protocol, and the only way to get a cable box to work with it is to get a converter box, and you can’t just buy them any old cable box. You have to go to an HDMI cable box store to pick up a converter box. And that is the only way to take advantage of this new technology. So if that is your major concern, I recommend getting a converter box.
The fact that someone is willing to spend money on a cable box does not justify the cost for one that can’t be used with thunderbolt. People are spending a lot of money on thunderbolt, so if you can’t use it, you might as well not buy the cable box at all. There just isn’t any reason to buy a cable box that can’t be used with thunderbolt, and there isn’t really any reason not to buy a converter box from the HDMI cable store.
